 I worked in the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform for a period of 12 years occupying the following positions:

 

1.           Researcher in the Field Crops Division in the Agricultural Research Directorate.

2.           Director General of the Agricultural Research Directorate.

3.           Director of the Agricultural Production Unit in the General Institution of the State Farms.

4.           Director of the Agricultural Affairs in the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform.

 

5.           Member of the Higher Council for Medicinal Plants in the Syrian Arab Republic (since 1985), which includes 12 professors from different faculties (Pharmacy, Medicine, and Agriculture), in addition to representatives from the Ministry of Health.

6.           Supervision on the establishment and development of the first medicinal plant factory in Syria, which belongs to the Administration of Productive Projects, Ministry of Defense.

7.           Assistant Professor, Field Crops Dept., Faculty of Agriculture, Univ. of Damascus      (1992 – 1997).
