The Tasks of Administrative and Financial Affairs Division

General tasks:
  Supervising all the sections , units and service committees belonging to the Division .

  Preparing the administrative and financial mechanism of ACSAD according to the rules and regulations in operation .

  Supervising the affairs of ACSAD staff within the framework of the rules and regulations which are in operation at ACSAD .

  Maintaining the buildings , equipment and vehicles .

  Preparing the periodic financial and administrative reports .

  Following up both financially and administratively all the programmes and projects financed internally as well as those financed externally through agreements with other parties .

  Preparing the draft financial and administrative systems and all the circulated notes and decisions which regulate the work at ACSAD .

  Preparing the estimated draft annual budget of ACSAD .

  Preparing the final accounts of ACSAD .

  Following up the provision of funding from different sources to carry out ACSAD activities and programmes . These funding sources include : Contributions of the Arab countries to ACSAD annual budget . Technical cooperation with Arab countries and Arab and international organizations . Expertise contracts made by ACSAD with some Arab countries and Arab and international agencies and institutes . Profits from direct activities carried out by ACSAD .

  Providing the work inputs at appropriate time to help implement the planned activities and programmes .

  Providing the new staff necessary for the excellent work of ACSAD according to ACSAD Basic System .

  Following up the application of the unified financial and accounting system as well as the financial regulations , the financial decisions made by the Economic and Social Council and the recommendations of the Financial Inspection Commission .

  Participating in the preparation and organization of the meetings and conferences held by ACSAD .

  Coordinating with the ACSAD offices and liaison officers in the Arab countries .

  Carrying out public affairs activities or any work not included in the fields of specialization of the technical divisions.
